problem in s/w components

Hi experts,

While importing the s/w components it is not imported to IR.

what is the problem? I have faced this question in interiew.But i could not find the answer till now.

Hi prerna,

I faced the same problem while importing in IR.The reason for not importing is service users are locked.example:PIIRUSESR,PIIDUSER,PIRWBUSERS..

This is in my case,

import CR_Content file

from address http://xiserver:<your port>/sld/admin/import.jsp

every time when you will create new software cent then CR_Content file updated automatically

you will find CR_content file \usr\sap\SYSTEM ID \SYS\global\sld\model

Point out what error exactly u get while importing?

If you are unable to see the swcv in IR

Clear SLD cache

Check whether you have assigned the SWC to a product in SLD.

Did you run the SLDCHECK transaction on your XI R/3 stack. I do not think this is the error of your connected R/3 System.

Go to SU01 and check XILDUSER is locked ? if not try to reset the password to what it was again. If it is locked unlock it.

In the exchange Profile http://<host>:50500/exchangeProfile, go to the Connection tab and enter the correct password of XILDUSER.

How to change passwords of XI users ?

HI,

May be because you dont have suffiecient rights to load the SWCV.

Try to give SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR rights.
