Fix the coloumn position in script

Hi Friends,

I want print 6 coloumns : - Item, description , qty, unit, unit of price, netamount..

if the Item value is 16 characters . description comming from the position .. if the value is 14 characters .. its printing from left of 2 postions . allignment problem.. How to fix this issue with How to fix this issue without depend on item value...

If The item is numbers allignment.. if its charcters .. allighnment giving problem.. thats is depends on case also..

pleasse suggest me the solution..its too urgent..

how change the upper case letters to lower.. where i can i use Trnsalte for change the text case.....iam using sapmm06p.. for purcahse orders..
