Customer Material Info Record (CMIR) in MDM

We have a requirement to allow our customers to search and display our internet product catalog (stored in MDM) using their part number from the CMIR record. We are looking at adding customer info records (CMIR) as a qualified lookup in MDM to allow this functionality. We are exploring MDMGX and MDM_EXTRACTION as options to send the information from R3 (4.7) to MDM. We know how to do this with MDMGX, but are looking for a way to have the MDM_EXTRACTION program send an IDoc to XI and have XI put the XML file on the MDM server. Is there an IDoc type that corresponds to the CMIR? Is this even an option in the MDM_EXTRACTION program?

This process is possible:

There is no IDOC for customer master Info recod.

Check the idoc - DEBMAS06,

To create CMIR -- VD51 is the Transaction.

Hi Jack,

I dont think any IDoC is present for CMIR, further if you want to use XI in between any want an xml file. You can try your scenario with Proxy to File. It will give you an xml file having all the data related to customer.

or 2nd thing is you can search for a BDoC and then can convert this BDoC for CMIR to IDoC to see the schema in XI system.
