Difference between two rows onto the third row

Hello Gurus,

I'm trying to see the difference between two rows onto the third row. I tried different ways and not able to achieve this. I really not able to understand what else I have to do. Can you please help me on this?

EX:

glacct balance

6001 1000

6002 200

800 (this is what I want to achieve)

U can achieve this using structures only. If you have no strcutures in the report, it will be difficult. I think u r using hierarchy.

I never used structure before but when I tried I'm not ablt to see keyfigues in the new selection or new formula. Can you please advice if I miss something?

Here if u want to find diff between two GL accounts you need to create a structure and in create new selection and put the GL account IO in that and restrict with GL account values. again in the new formula you can write formula for diff. The key figures wil be in columns only.

Structure -

Columns (Key figures)

GL1(New selection)

GL2(New Selection)

Diff(New Formula)

Is 200 a negative 200?

800 may be the overall result.
