We use Citrix Metaframe 4.0 and Windows Server 2003 SP1

The problems actually starts with installing the Internet Explorer 7

We use the application installation suite from visionapp for installing and administrating our Citrix / Server Farm

So.. if we install a new program version... the completly Server reinstall with all programs and patches.

Well... in Production we use the IE 6 with the SAP GUI 25 Version...

Every runs well, without problems.

For testing the new IE7 we have installed a Test Server with the same programs as Prod.... only different...

In Test we use W2K3 SP2 with the actual patches.

On the automatic Test Server Installation, IE7 installation script starts before SAP GUI.

In the IE7 Installation the DLL mshtml.dll comes on board.

So... if the installation begins with the SAP GUI... SAP Installation crash at the point by registering the mshtml.dll.

If we manipulate the SAP GUI Installation and putting out the mshtml.dll the installation runs to the end...

But if i try ti re-register again the mshtml.dll (only test), i became an error "Reregistering failed"... Why???

Is the mshtml.dll the focus for my starting problem.. or is this an othe working area

re-install SAPGUI 6.40 with latest patch from ftp://ftp.sap.com/pub/sapgui/win/640/patches/

latest patch to date is 28... and you are at 25.
