CATS cost center not affecting posting

Dear Gurus

When i enter cost center through cats , it doesnot appear in the posting document after i run the payroll for the employees.

what i do is as follows

1- i enter sender cost center in IT315

2-Enter reciever cost center in the timesheet

3-release,approve and transfer time data to HCM

4-run the payroll then post

am i missing anything here?

Hi,

Is Employee cost center is considering from either IT 0001 or IT 0027 ? While Employee payroll, cost center will consider from IT 0001 / IT 0027 only.

So how can i make the Reciever Cost center is the one with effect on posting not the cost center in 0001 or 27 ???
