HCM processes and forms - Workflow program exits and task visualisation SWFVISU

Hi Community,

I am having some issues with workflow in HCM P&F and would like to understand some details that will help me debug.

I will take task TS17900100 which has object method in PFTC CL_HRASR00_WF_COMPONENTS/WI_EXECUTION_VIA_R3_INBOX

and in SWFVISU, it has Java Web DYnpro with parameters :

APPLICATION EditFormApp
PACKAGE sap.com/pa~asr~formstep

I am wondering if this is the correct flow or I am missing something?

My understanding is that when the workflow get to the step having this task, the program exit is called which will read the task visualization to find out what application to execute. If the workitem is opened from SAPGUI then the PFTC object method

CL_HRASR00_WF_COMPONENTS/WI_EXECUTION_VIA_R3_INBOX

is executed.
