Appraisal: Including BAdI in Appraisal template

Dear friends,

I am working on appraisal template & want to calculate marks based on certain formula. For this calculation a BAdI by name "HRHAP00_VAL_DET" has been made by an ABAP person. He has attached it to the standard BAdI "ALTWEIGHT". Now, I need to default the calculated value in the column "Marks Obtainined".

In appraisal template, i have included "ALTWEIGHT" in "Value Detemination" column of "Column" tab, but the value isnt defaulted while creating the appraisal thru TC - "Appcreate".

Pls advise in how to include this BAdI in the template.
