target quantity grayed out in correction request

Hi,

I created my own document type for correction request (RK) and I missed something, because it copies all materials and doubles the lines, but I am not able to modify the target quantity. Can you help me how to solve that issue?

Many thanks,

Kasper

Had you shared the screen shot of your document, it would have been easy to guide you. Not sure whether you are aware, normally, when you create an Invoice Correction Request, you can see two line items - first line items would be greyed out and second line item for you to make change either the price or quantity. In your case, is this not editable ?

      Hi,

thanks for your answer. Yes, I am aware of that. I have those 2 lines, but both are totally grayed out and it is not possible to change quantity or price. Most problably there must be something wrong with copying control, cause I copied the standard one which were working. I have provided all the copying requirements as they were used for standard, so it's kind of weird now why it's not working for mine docs..

When I don't know why a certain field is grayed out or does not appear at all in an order, first I check if there is some variant that messes up my test, then I check if some logic exists in MV45AFZZ (userexit_field_modification) is causing problems. If this does not help me figure out what is going on - I refer to SAP note 208245 - Availability of fields in sales orders. The note is really useful and makes such investigations easy if you put a bit time and of effort.

Yes only two reasons for this issue.

    1. Some customized routine is assigned in copy control where the required validation is missing.
    2. Some ABAP coding is not validating correctly

Ask your ABAPer to compare with the standard copy controls first and then, check in debug mode as to why the columns were greyed out.
