WBS element not visible in display mode

Hello all

I am facing the following issue in transaction iw32.

If the User add the settlement rule to Order in create status (SYSTEM Status = CRTD), then in display mode of that order User is not able to settlement rule. If the same order is opened in change mode, User is able to see settlement rule. This is not the case when the order is in released status. If the order is in released status and then you add the settlement rule then you can see the settlement rule in display and change mode. Can sum1 plz help me in this. Is this related to some user exit??

Hi,

I think as such there is no problem here.When you are in Display mode you cant do any modifications/settlement.this is common and in change mode SYstem allows to modify/settle.So i hope this clarifies your quiry and reward me if it is usefull.

Also please note that we will be able to book the cost to WBS only in The Released status and hence you may find the difference between CRTD and REL modes.In CRTD status no cost can be booked.

I think u did not understand the issue. In the display mode even if the WBS element is assigned to a settlement rule I am not able to see it,and an error is being shown that "No Settlement rule is defined". But in the additional data tab i am able to see the WBS element asssigned in the display mode only.Please clarify.
