Product allocation

Hi experts,

Can anybody tell me what is product allocation in Basic data -1 view in material master and how it works? Where i have to allocate the product?

Hi,

In the material master, the product allocation determination procedure is entered in the basic data-1 screen for general data to carry out availability check against product allocation
