Formula Doubt

Dear All,

I am using BEx Query Designer. There is a structure made in Columns. In that structure there is a formula( Calendar days in past three months) and in that formula contains " =0 ". i.e equal to Zero. There is another structure in Rows which contains 0calmonth restricted elements. For e.g. 1 column for august 2007,1 column for septemeber 2007etc. The problem is that the value in the "formula column" is NOT zero. A value of 91 or 92 appears. Why doesnot zero appear inspite of hardcoded zero

Are you telling that even after if you hardcore the value to zero it reverts back to 91 or 92???

if no, then did you try putting the zero value in the formula???

When there are two structures then the formula in Rows and Columns are hardcored to zero and the calculation is done in the cell defenition.

Dear Rakesh,

In Formula there is a code "=0" in it as hard as it can be coded.

Dear Rakesh,

"=0" is hard coded in the formula and 91 and 92 in that column appears when we view report in analyzer

Oh!! ok.

Check in the Cell Defenition there will be some calculation which is happening.........The output of these calculations are getting displayed in the report output.

Just click on the cell defenition icon which is the eleventh icon on the Query designer toolbar
