Period lot size in SNP

Is it necessary to use Time/Planning bucket(sapapo/tr30) profile weekly for Period lot size procedure weekly to work.

I am using Daily(first few weeks), then weekly and monthly planning bucket profile.

If I change the Planning bucket to weekly only and run the Heuristics the results are as expected.

But when run on the existing planning bucket profile, it doesn't help. Any ideas/suggestion.

I remember in one of the previous it worked perfect on daily buckets.

Ada, thanks a lot for the reply but we are not using lot always in first period. To clarify do we need to change buckets in this scenario or not. If I provide with incident number , can we do a screen share to resolve the issue?

hi, what about the other settings of your periodic lot size?

maybe you're using lot always in the first period, so it sets lot to Monday in daily view, but when change to weekly, there's only one period. It puts the lot into this period based on period factor (just a guess).

without looking into a sample deep into the coding, it will be hard to answer such issue here.

Meaning with daily then weekly and monthly period lot size. The heuristic result does not gives receipts as expected and don't follow the periodic factor as well. Also when the bucket changes from daily to weekly the receipts day gets changed from Monday to Wednesday 🙂
