When trying to import an XLS file in SAP Analytics Cloud, it fails with a non-descriptive "an error exception occurred in the Data Acquisition service".
Is there a console or log facility in SAC that I can consult to get the details behind this exception and troubleshoot the data import?

You have the main menu System > Monitor > Trace to verify what has happened.
