Distribute Data Evenly Among Periods - BW BPS in 3.5

I have created a planning function to distribute planned sales data evenly through posting periods. I have completed the instructions below from another forum question but the data is not coming out correctly.

I am going from Posting period # and Fiscal Year 2006 - 9999

Can someone explain to me exactly how to set this up to get the data to distribute evenly into 12 periods?

Firstly you need to use the planning function type : Distribute by Keys from Sender to Recipient.

In planning funtions

Under Fields to be changed it should be Calendar month

Under Fields for condition it should be Calendar year

In parameter Group,

Make sure the old calendar month is #

And under new values it is the period say (1to 12 ) defined.or used in a variable.

2. Important is make sure that calendar month is there in the level

And the values of this characteristic should contain both # and the 1to 12 periods.

1 to 12

By this all the data will first occupy in the # and it will equally distribute into 1 to 12 periods
