My company is trying to understand the best practice for adjusting VSF mid-month. Our goal is to ensure that we are sending the correct demand signals to the shop floor so we review SKU consumption on a weekly basis. If a SKU is over consuming we add VSF back in to the point we assume the SKU should be at for the day in the month. Where we are struggling is when we go to add in VSF in MD62, we do not see the same result in MD04...i.e, we add 50 units in MD62 for the month of Oct. When we go back to MD04, there are only 25 units of demand showing. Currently this process is very manual and we have 10,000 active SKUs. We are trying to automate (through use of macros) but our results are less than perfect. Does anyone have any suggestions?
