Hi all ABAP Gurus,

I have a string of about 600 characters. But when I upload it into application server, I can see only till 510 characters using AL11 transaction.

Is there any limit?

it has limit.

if u want see entire data, down load the file into presentation server using sxda_tools or cg3y

You can download those data into Local file and see the data in local server

Use transaction CG3Y

I guess it should be 255 charcters ,when you download the data into .txt file then you can able to see 1024 charcters in each line.

This is very common problem, please ask the BASIS guys to download that file and send it. Once you will get this file open either .txt or excel spread sheet. You will definitely able to see the entire content.
