Hello!

Let's assume the colleague of mine deleted yesterday the whole folder /usr/sap/<sid> or deinstalled them with SAPINST.

<b>Do I have the possibility to recover the state before the delition with Windows system recovery functions via:

System --> Programs --> Accessories --> system programs --> system recovery</b>

Thank you very much!

regards

Thom

Hi,

Yes you can ,but after the installation of SAP if you set system restore option in the OS ,then only you can restore entire OS ,otherwise you cant.

Check : Mycomputer->properties->system restore

Hello,

Only option is to talk with your OS administrator and try to recover it....

no, This won't work because SAP applications (except for SAPGUI) are not registered in Windows registry as Installed programs.

you will need to recover from your OS backup you run once a day.
