Hi all,
I'm interested in your opinion on the following.
How would you model a permission like "I agree that my personal information can be shared with partners of company xyz"?
As a permission is a combination between ID Origin and Communication Medium;
And items like EMAIL; PHONE and MOBILE are ID Origins,
Would I need to make a combination with all three (as I'm sharing all of those with Partners), but then I'd need three permission flags as well?
Or do I better create an extra ID Origin and Communication medium and combine those? (e.g. ZPARTNER - ZPARTNER)
Thanks for your views on this,
Joyca
Dear Joyca,
If I understood your explanation, something similar already exists for Social media (see image below). In your case, you would need one extra level for the separate companies above that. Assuming the consumer can decide which ID Origin/Communication medium can be used per partner, you would get the following:
The problem with above would be though that you won't be able to use the standard marketing permission checks, which I assume you do want to use?
Looking at "Standard marketing permission", you might need to maintain an all-in/all-out marketing permission per partner as you suggested.
With regards,
Akil
