capitalization date

Dear All,

Now i am creating the Asset master in SAP. Where i am using AS91 Manually, because there are very less amount of assets are there.

SO, when i am creating the Legacy Asset Data through AS91, i am getting a problem with reference to the Capitalization Date.

For Example: As per the data i received, the acquisition date of the asset is on 21.01.2006. when i gave this date in the general tab, the system is giving an error as follows.

"""Capitalization date must be earlier than or same as transfer date""""

When i saw the long text for the error, the following description is coming:

Capitalization date 21.01.2006 is later than the transfer date 31.03.2005 for legacy data transfer of assets.

So, my how to resolve this issue....from where the system is taking 31.03.2005 as the transfer date..

Please help me out....as it is very crucial time to get out of this....
