Hi

In IMG Logistic General--


Tax on goods movement--IndiaMaster dataAssign user to material master--their select user screen reference,maintain your user ID.

If you done this then you will get CIN tab in your customer master and also in your vendor master.

Summary

Symptom

When you are maintaining vendor or customer master, a new function button 'CIN Details' is appearing in the application tool bar. This is also seen under the menu Environment in the master data for vendor and customer.

If your logon language is not English, you see the button active , but with a text meaning 'Addtional Component'.

Other terms

XD01, XD02, XD03 , FD01 , FD02, FD03, FK01, FK02, FK03, XK01, XK02, XK03, J_1IKUNNR , J_1IVENDOR , CIN Details .

Reason and Prerequisites

SAP Application CIN is active in the customer system.

Transaction FIBF->Settings->Identification->SAP Applications. In the application column look for application 'CIN' and check whether active flag is marked. If this is the case, then CIN Details push button will be seen for the Vendor and Customer Master Maintenance.

1. If SAP Application 'CIN' is active

a) 'CIN Details' push button will be seen for all company codes.

b) 'CIN Details' button allows navigation for data maintenance when the company code country is India.

2. If SAP Application 'CIN' is in-active

a) 'CIN Details' push button will not be seen for any company codes.

Solution

If you have a company code with country as India, you need to maintain details using this function. Otherwise you need not maintain this details . Follow the steps given to deactivate the function if you do not need to maintain the information.

This is achived by de-activation of a SAP Application called 'CIN' which is a client independent setting.

Menu path for checking the same . Transaction FIBF.

Choose Settings->Identification->SAP Applications.

In the application column check for application 'CIN' .

If active flag is checked, uncheck the same.

Save the settings .

If system asks for a transport request, enter the relevant request.

Once this is completed, the 'CIN Details' push button will not be active for your system.
