PO print preview problem

Hi,

I have maintianed following Text in PO item level in info record text .

Evaporated Salt, meeting these requirements:

Sodium Chloride: >99.8 wt%

Calcium/Magnesium: <20 ppm

Calcium Chloride: <5 ppm

Water Insolubles: <50 ppm

Approved:______________________________ Date:_____________________

But when i see in print preview , it showing as below

Evaporated Salt, meeting these requirements:

Sodium Chloride: >99.8 wt%

Calcium/Magnesium: <(><<)>20 ppm

Calcium Chloride: <(><<)>5 ppm

Water Insolubles: <(><<)>50 ppm

thus some unecesaary special characers are appearing in Print preview.

what could be the possible cause for this?

how this can be rectified?

Go to the place where you define the PO text, in that text editor screen choose 'Change Editor' to line editor mode (you can find this in one of the Menu item), remove those unwanted character, then save it.

I tried the way you told me .

it worked ..thanks

but this is happening every time ..

so i have to do it manually every time.

is there any way so that i can avoid this manual oeration?

If you do that in the PO then you have to do it every time, I already mentioned in my 1st reply is that go the place you define the PO text (change in the configuration for purchasing text). Do u know who define that in the configuration (tcode : SPRO), ask that person to do it for you if u r not the one define it.
