Quality Management - Test Equipment Management

Hi,

I am currently working on Quality Management Module. I have some doubts on Test equipment management as below -

1) I have defined a Test Equipment. I also have created calibration maintenance plan with maintenance strategy 'Monthly'. Now my question is how to call the schedules of calibration automatically on the due dates? This is required because I have some 100 nos. of equipments in each plant. hence calibration schedule is very difficult to manage manually.

2) Can I block my Test equipment if it is not calibrated?

3) How can I calculate the life cycle of an equipment?

4) How can I plan calibration of test equipments based on it's usage? for example an equipment is to be calibrated after it is used 1000 times.

Answers to above doubts will be highly appreciated.
