Hi Gurus,

Would someone explain (with example) about the status of Internal Order - Created, Released, Tech. Complete, Completed, Closed, etc.?

If there is any doc. for this, that is highly appreciated. Pls mail me at sheila.bagga (my gmail account)

Thanks in advance,

Sheila

Hi,

The example can be like this.

-->When you create an internal order say 10010 the status will be CRTD.

-->Now you have to release this order to use this, without releasing an order you cannot use it. When you release the order status will be cahnged to REL.

--> If you are using Budgeting then you have to assign budget T-Code KO20 for this order after releasing it, then the status will be changed to BUDG

-->Once you had completed posting all the expencess to this order then you have to settle the order, after settlement when no WIP exists then the status of the order will be changed to TECO (Technically Completed)

--> When the status is TECO you can no longer use this internal order

-->Finally you can close the order by changing the status to CLSD.

Thanks,

Raj

Sheila,

Go to SPRO and to the following IMG path:

Controlling>Internal Orders>Order Master Data-->Status Management.

Read the attached performance assistant for each node. Also see the configuration in these nodes. It would give you some idea.

Vishal.
