Hello,

we have the following process:

- A prospect is created in C4C (no transfer to ERP)

- After a while the prospect is switched to a customer and then it gots replicated to ERP

- The customer now gets an external ID.

Is this external ID generated in C4C or in ERP?

We would like to know, if the system checks in ERP what is the next free number in the number range or if it checks this in C4C?

Hi Anne,

Here is my understanding.

  • For Accounts created in C4C, both ID fields will differ. This because C4C will determine the internal Account_ID and the external (replication) ECC ID in this case. SAP ECC is following with an numberrange which is marked as External.
  • c4c-ecc.png See here for this diagram:

Enter the external ID of the sales organization that will be mapped from ERP with the sales organization on Cloud for Customers.
