CRM 5.0 - IC - Navigation Bar

Hi Gurus

I've added Shortcut Keys to my Navigation Bar Profile ID's but they're not displaying at all. This should be any easy one but cannot resolve.

Hi Pandu,

in SPRO, U click on navigation profile and select assign entries (transaction CRMC_IC_NAVBAR_PERM).

Click new entries and choose nav bar entry ID ' Index' , choose standard area and permanent entry.

Now when u logon to Web IC, u will see navigation ' Index'.

Hello Kumar,

In addition to the above, By default the shortcut keys are deactivated.If you want to use shortcuts,you must first activate them by choosing Default Navigation Bar.

To Display shortcuts in application: Choose Show keyboard Navigation Shortcuts in Menu.

To Use Shortcuts : Esc+Key

Hi Pandu,

If my understanding is correct, u can resolve it by doing as follows

1) Check correct navigation profile is assigned to your web IC profile

2) Lauch Web IC, Click on index.and check whether the short cuts u have defined in your navigation profile for your functions appears, Iif so , pl. check whether show keyboard navaigation short cuts in preferences is activated. Pl. activate it if it is not done already.

Hi Arun

Have double checked the Navigation Profile, it is definitely linked to the current WebClient Profile I'm using.

When I launch the Web IC, I cannot click on the Index as it is not there, only the Navigation Bar options appear.

You mention a "Preferences" setting, where is this located?
