Open item managment switch causes document splitting error in clearing (F.13)

Hi All,

We have a current issue regarding to activation of open item management for G/L accounts.

Our client is on ECC 6.0 EhP7 and utilize NewGL and Document splitting is active.

We switch the flag of GR/IR account (G/L account) from item line management to open item management, we doing this executing RFSEPA02. Before this, we clear balance account into zero.

After change the account to OIM, we try to clearing “new” open items with F.13 transaction but we get the error message GLT002 Document Splitting: Items for clearing &1/&2/&3/&4 not found.

We found information about FAGL_ACTIVATE_OP transaction, which it is suggested to use in cases of switch accounts to OIM when NewGL is active.

In addition, we look that FAGL_SPLINFO table doesn´t filled with information for the documents that show us with error in F.13

We trying use GLGCU1 transaction to transfer the documents to FAGL_SPLINFO, but doesn´t work because this transaction only update tables FAGLFLEXT and FAGLFLEXA.

We intent to execute FAGL_ACTIVATE_OP transaction after all this but we get a warning msg Open item management is already active for account

Do you have any suggestion to resolve this issue?
