Hi all,

1) Can any one explain the images types .And how these are works on the ods and cube.

2)If our process chain is failed .after resolving the error how can we change the red colour of the chain(Particular step) into green color?

3)I would like to a new field to cube .These cube has already filled with data. how can i add a field into cube .?

You can add a field to the cube which has the data already. Just follow the same procedure how u add the chars or key figures at first time.. If u are populatin the value to this new object from the update rules and u want to populate the value for the historical data also then load the data to the other cube and from that cube to this cube after adding the field.....

Bharath,

1. 0recordmode is the field added by the system, if the datasource is delta capable.0recrodmode controls how data is posted into cubes or ODS (DSO) Objects.

N for new records

B for Pre Imgages

' ' for after images

R for Reverse Images

X for Storno

D for Deletion of a Key (only in ODS possible)

Y-Update image

check this thread which tell s in detail about the Orecordmode and ROCANCEL

2. Once after you delete the bad request and trigger the issue then you need to the previous process and run the chain.

3. You need to delete the data from the cube if you want to enhance the same.

No bef and aft Images in Cube.

Do Repeat on the failed process type after correcting the error due to which it failed/stopped.

Ex : Activation ODS failed due to No SID.

You can add the new field to Cube if history is not required you neednot delete all data but required you have to delete and reload all data.
