restrict the values of a selection variable in Bex

Hello,

I want to restrict the values of a variable of mandatory selection in my report:

This variable shows all the value of the master data (/ERP/CATEGORY):

I just want to let me select the 3 first: VERI*

How can we do it?

Hi,

How about filtering your query with the 3 VERI? It will only make the three (3) data in your search options.

Another method is through BADI..But try the solution above first if it's okay to you..Else, implement the method below..

thanks for your help Loed, regarding your first point, how can I restrict the values of a selection variable ?, we want the user to select one of these 3 options and the others are not visible.

Hi,

Just drag your characteristic to your global filter then choose the 3 VERI data.
