Input query is nothing but any other query with the key figures selected for planing either by user input or by planing functions in IP.
To make a input query work, you need lots of other objects and config that is part of IP.

Hi
Input Ready Query is used in Integrated planning as the UI for writing plan data to the real time cube. Its like an analysis query but you can also make key figures editable so that you can plan on them .

Hi,
Input Ready Query is indeed part of Integrated Planning. Go through the delta tab for Integrated Planning.
