Hi,
Is there any way to insist that certain type of materials can be issued only against either AUC or Fixed Asset? This is to avoid using certain materials getting issued against Cost Center / Maintenance Order etc.

No there is no way.
By pracice only u have to handle this. try manipals suggstion if possible.
if this is yours serious problem, u can think of creating a new customised material type may b by name asset or capital in oms2

In oms2 copy any material type depending upon yr requirement(ROH)
Give description as Capital or Asset as suitable to you.
