FMIOI and FMIFIIT update by User Exit

Former Member

Hello Dear Experts.

I need in my FM (BCS) update values in FMIOI and FMIFIIT by some user exit before the values are written to these tables.

For instance when I open PR I need change value of it (according to my own logic) and then write the value to FMIOI. The same with FMIFIIT.

Does anyone can advise me which user exits can help me ?

Thanks.

Those table contain the realisation values. You can change them with the FMDERIVE. In there you have the possibility to use exits.

Hello Andrey,

It looks quite dangerous to write values to the database in a non-standard procedure, as it may cause inconsistencies.

I am not sure to understand what you mean with 'when I open a PR...'. Should you need to handle the point where you want to update commitment values, you could use a release strategy.

I hope this helps...

Best regards,

Mar

Hello.

I need to handle a point where are commitments values are written to FMIOI and FMIFIIT.

How release strategy an FMDERIVE could help me ? I need ABAP development to change a values. For instance if I create purch. req. for 100 EUR I want write to EBAN 100 EUR but write to FMIOI 100*X (X is something). This is a point.

The same with purch. order an invoice.

Hello Andrey

I pointed the release strategy in order to manage when FM should be updated/not updated. But as I see in your description, it has nothing to do..(sorry!)

I am still concerned about the mismatch between EBAN and FMIOI. If amounts are different, probably CO will be also updated differently. Is that what you need?...

and, what if you need to reconstruct the documents (via FMN0, FMN4N..)...the same

exit should work?

Further, please also keep in mind that, if the updating of FMIOI and FMIFIIT is not standard, it will probably fall out of the scope of the SAP Support in case of inconsistency.

kind regards, Mar
