Problem While Applying the support package SAPKN70012

While Applying support package SAPKB70012 ,tp_user_check_ok phase is running for long time without interruption and goes into loop and does not process further.And it is not even throwing the error nor the patch is aborted.I stopped the session and restarted and still facing the same problem.

Kindly suggest what to be done in this case...

How to delete patches from tp buffer.

Iam getting the following error while iam checking with this command:

tp connect <SID>

This is tp version 370.01.01 (release 700, unicode enabled)

E-TPSETTINGS could not be opened.

EXIT

ERROR: System : Parameter SAPEVTPATH not set. Batch jobs cannot be started.

Error in TPSETTINGS: transdir not set.

tp returncode summary:

TOOLS: Highest return code of single steps was: 0

ERRORS: Highest tp internal error was: 0208

tp finished with return code: 208

meaning:

error in transportprofil (param missing, unknown,...)

Ihave already checked the follwing command:

tp connect SID pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_SID.PFL

TP RETURNED WITH RETURNCODE 0.

Kindly suggest the solution...how to process further??

Hello Ram,

TP used event RDDIMPDP to trigger the steps inside of TP. The problem seems to be that the event RDDIMPDP can't be triggered because the parameter SAPEVTPATH is not set. Check out note 11677 to find out how to set it in the instance profile.
