SAP APO PPDS Is there a way to plan only forecast and ignore STRs?

Hi All,

I am looking for a way to plan on the basis of forecast and no other demand element should be planned i.e. neither sales order or STRs. Requirement strategy 10 (corresponding to ECC strategy 10) is good as long as there is no STR (stock transport requisition). However whenever there is an STR, system plans STRs in addition to forecast.

Product master settings:

check mode is 030

APO requirement strategy is 10

consumption is 2, 100 - fwd and 100- bwd.

Scenario :

Forecast - 10/20/2017 - 10

STRs - 10/20/2017 - 3

Sales order - 10/20/2017 - 20

Results after planning:

Forecast - 10/20/2017 - 10

Planned order - 10/20/2017 - 10

STRs - 10/20/2017 - 3

Planned order - 10/20/2017 - 3

Sales order - 10/20/2017 - 20

Since STRs are not consuming forecast we are getting additional plan that is not required.

Any guidance on this will be highly appreciated.

I took care of this using custom requirement strategy in APO.
