Activity duration calculate

Hi all,

I wan to calculate activities diffrent way in CO11N. My activities are Setup

Machine and Labor. I want to use Execution start,Execution finish and break time.

I want to use this parameters for calculating activities automaticly.

Can I use to define this parameters for work center formulas? or How can I do this case?

I just wonder why you just don't use progress confirmation instead of time ticket confirmation??

Hi,

Because the users know when the order start and finish time. So when they enter exec.start and finish time , activity can get automaticly from exec.start time , exec.finish time and brea time.

This is reason.

Hi,

Yes probably you can do that. For that you have to define different parameter in work-center customisation with field of Finish Time, Start Time and break field as referance field. Then use this parameter for defining formula in work-center scheduling formula node. And use this formula as your machine, labour and setup formula in work-center scheduling view.

Try this and revert back with result you get.

It is not clear from your question how exactly you want to use it.

Will you enter this data manually and create a formula so that

Execution finish - execution finish - break time = time for activity calculation?

Rajesha ,you are right.

Now activity time come from routings. but when I confirm the order , activity(especially machine activity) time is equal this:

Execution finish - execution start - break time = activity time

Exec.finish,exec.start and break time enter manually but activity calculate automaticly from this data.

How can I do this?

Define formula parameters for work centers in OP17

ZAP001 start time

ZAP002 finish time

ZAP003 break time

Create a formula

Total time = ZTOT = ZAP002 - ZAP001 - ZAP003

See that make it allowed for costing /scheduling/wc requirement

In OPCM , Define standard value keys, create a new key = Z001 and assign the above 3 std values

ZAP001 start time

ZAP002 finish time

ZAP003 break time

SAP001 set up

SAP002 processing time

Create a work center and enter the Std value key Z001 and in capacity, scheduling and costing tab assign the formula ZTOT in other formula field and set up and processing use SAP005, SAP006(capacity formula) and SAP001 , SAP002(scheduling).

Now assign this in a routing and use it in Production order.

Now when you create a production order, the time will be considered from SAP001 and SAP002 and formula SAP005 and Sap006, but when you confirm donot enter anything in Setup and processing time, but enter in Other formula,,,,then system will calculate the actual activity time and update.

Orifine -it should be 2- std values

Yes You can define Execution start,Execution finish and break time. as activities, and assign them to work center.Only thing is that Max only 6 activities you can assign to a work center.
