Is it possible for the system to trigger next maintenance call when we close the last work order?

G'day Gurus

In our system we have two options.

1. The system generates a work order for a maintenance item call on the set date, irrespective of the previous workorders being still open, hence creating a duplicate work order.

2. Once we TECO the work order next calls are released. The calls are released according to the schedule.

Do we have an option in the system where the system calculates the next due date , based on frequency, from the date of TECO? e.g. a 6 monthly PM work order is due for Oct. It gets done in Dec. The system calculates and schedules the next call for June next year instead of March.

thanks in advance

Gaurav

You need to look at the shift factors/tolerance in the maintenance plan scheduling paramters screen (IP02).

If you do not want the subsequent order to be created until the preceeding order is confirmed, then use the Completion Requirement flag in IP02)
