Error handling in transformations during model generation

Hi all,

we have a LDM to PDM generation with few (let's say 4) Transformations between.

The Transformations are run in sequence 1->2->3->4. If we have an error in the second Transformation, we can exit the procedure and log the error... but the generation will trigger the next (third) transformation and proceed until the model is generated...

How to exit/stop the whole generation process, in case one of the transformations throws an error?

BR,

Rafal

In transformation code, add code to find transformation process id. Kill the process when error occurs.

how to get the transformation process id? I can get only the PD process id. Of course, I can't kill the whole PD process....

To get the PD process id, I'm using the WMIService.

When create transformation profile, do you put all 4 transformations in the same profile or create 4 profiles and each profile has one transformation?
