How to develop plugins for the SAP Visual Enterprise Author?

I'm am looking to write a custom plugin for custom data im- and export but can't find any resources where to begin. I looked into the archives and read about the SAP 3D Visual Enterprise core SDK but can't find any links to it or it's documentation.

I realize this is an old post but I am also curios about this. My company uses v8 due to our integration with other software and plugins we have not been able to move forward to version 9. Whats more is they handle licencing and software management on their end. I was curious about having a buddy of mine help me write my own plugins for personal use and a link to any sort of information regarding SDKs and plugin development would be useful.

Please download Visual Enterprise Author 9 FP03. Installer includes VE Core SDK.
