Dear forum
In some instances when users submit a leave request via the leave request tile on FIORI, the request registers zero hours (screenshot attached).
The approver cannot approve
if the requestor then selects the problematic request, clicks change and sends again, the hours are corrected
Any ideas as to why this could be happening?
Some additional information:
a. The payroll area is not locked (checked this already)
b. This has been happening consistently to requestors below a particular approver. We have no reports of it happening to any other requestors (but this does not mean it is not happening!!)
A quick response or any help would be greatly appreciated ... this has been troubling us for a while and client is unhappy

Sounds like a temporary issue that happens from time to time.
I would check if you block some error messages in V_HRWEB_TRS_MESS or in exit PT_ABS_REQ=>PROCESS_MESSAGES.
Could be that some errors which prevent sending are blocked. So sending is possible but has some issues.
