Hi Experts,
I would like to check if it is possible to limit the number of thread consume by a channel (Preferred SOAP sender channel) or can we control this on ICO/interface basis.
Thanks in Advance
Harish
Hi Harish,
I have one doubt with your question, if you limit the number of threads, could it not be dangerous for SOAP sync scenarios?, they could response a server error to the client consumer. Would it be better to increase the PI memory or to use a de-central AEX?

Hi Harish,
I still refer to this blog when it comes to tuning. It's a good read.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for your response, yes the tuning is taken care but I would like to check if we can throttle/restrict the specific service interface. The sender system/consumer do not want to do any changes from there end and I do not want the other flow/interfaces to slow down because of this. Thanks
Hi Harish,
The answer you seek is in section two of the blog I linked 2. Restrict the number of threads per interface
There are three solutions provided there and it will depend on the PI system that you have.

Mark
Thanks a lot Mark, I missed that point..
I will try this.
