Currently we have 2 Nodes with Active active OS cluster(SAP running on Node1 and SQL running on Node2) with the same DC1.

DR is running on another DC2 for recovery.

DC1 - Data center1.

DC2 - Data center2

DR - Disaster Recovery

--> Now we are planning to Decommission DR.

--> We are planning to move SQL cluster Node to Another DC2 from DC1 (Dual Datacenter).

Now Can you help us for Disaster Recovery (Technical recovery plan) ???

How we can plan for recovery ???

Kindly advise

Firstly you should be defining your HA/DR options, not asking in a community help for doing it. Your plan on moving one of your cluster nodes to another data center doesn't sound like a good idea. A cluster shares resources between its nodes, so you will have your storage on DC1 or DC2? Will you have a node running on DC2 while its storage is on DC1? What happens if the storage fails or communication between the datacenter fails? This is a very serious topic and if you are not an expert, you should get one. Secondly, you should get rid of SQL Server 2005. It is out of support and it is a very old release. Get a more recent SQL Server version (2014 or 2016).

The Business define the RTO/RPO. Once you have the RTO/RPO defined, you can plan your HA/DR options. As of SQL Server 2012, you have AlwaysOn Availability Groups.
