Hi All,

I am working on a multi-tenant HANA environment, in which I have two databases - database1 and database2.

I have a requirement to update a table in database2 whenever a new record is inserted in a table in database1.

Is this technically possible using a database trigger on the table in database1.

I tried to create a trigger as below:

create trigger test_trigger after insert on table1

REFERENCING NEW ROW MYNEWROW

FOR EACH ROW

BEGIN

insert into "database2"."schema1"."table1" values(:MYNEWROW."col1",:MYNEWROW."col2",:MYNEWROW."col3");

END;

But I get below error:

SAP DBTech JDBC: [7]: feature not supported: Unsupported DML / DDL on remote database object(s)

10 |10000 characters needed characters left characters exceeded

I have the same errror. Any advice?
