Hi,

Please manually run FM BBP_GET_CATEGORIES_F4 in se37 by inputting user WZAR09QUYMGP who triggered this dump and check the results returned from it.

Usually please check ppoma_bbp for this user to check if product category allowed to be used are maintained well in extended attributes for this user.

Hi Ivy,

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately I am just a stuck non techno-savvy user(supplier). Would you have a less tech step by step solution? if unavailable dont worry.

Peter

Hi Peter,

first you should logon to SRM GUI system with one GUI user who has enough authorization such as t-code se37, pposa_bbp, etc.

Then logon to GUI and execute t-code se37 and input FM BBP_GET_CATEGORIES_F4.

Then execute this FM by F8 and input the user name who has this issue. Then execute it again to see if there is any error returned. If so, you may let me know the exact error.

Meanwhile you should go to pposa_bbp and search the user who has issue, and double click its position, and there should be one tab called extended attributes, here you should make screenshot to show me if any product category is maintained or not.

Hi Ivy,

Thank you for the guidance regarding the above exception error. We are also facing the same "ATTRIBUTE_READ_ERROR" for a particular supplier. I tried your recommendation but the FM BBP_GET_CATEGORIES_F4 returns no values. The SLC supplier record in NWBC already has the product categories maintained under Supplier LifeCycle Management-->supplier Portfolio--> Central Data

In PPOSA_BBP, I'm not able to find any tab "extended attributes". I have compared the supplier record that has the product category issue with others which are ok and the inputs are all identical.

Please help me figure out what could be causing the dump. Thanks.

Regards,

Angela.

Hi Angela,

SLC is a quite different scenario than normal SRM. So analysis of the same error in SLC system should be different.

Please report a new question with tag "SAP Supplier Lifecycle Management " so that experts from this area would provide some help for this.
