where do you set factory calanders. What is the path and is normally taken care of by which module

It is set company code level,plant level check SCAL t code.

Almost forgot... You can also assign factory calendar to Sales organization.

When you have maintained the factory calendar you can assign it to a Plant (IMG - Enterprise Structure - Definition - Logistics General - Define Plant), Work center (t.code CR01) and Shipping point (IMG - Enterprise

Structure - Definition - Logistics Execution - Define shipping point).

These assignments will affect your processes in a different ways... For example the factory calendar assigned to the work center will overrule the plant calendar in production order scheduling (if they are not the same).

Hi...

Basically the Calender Setups are taken care by SAP HR. But in Case of factory Calender it can be either PP or MM who will take or an SCM Guy will do it.

The other info apart from the mentioned Concepts are , u will be assigning Factory Calenders in Two Places.

1. Define Plant- U see an Option to Assign factory Calender

2. Define Shipping Point - U see an Option to Assign Factory Calender.

Follow the path

IMG...>SAP NetWeaver...>General Settings...>Maintain Calendar.

there click on factory calender.

u assign factory calendor , which creating plant.

Hello Go to SPRO--Netviewer and General settings and Factory calendor..

T.code is SCAL

1)First you need to create Public Holidays and These Public holidays will be assigned to Holiday calender.

2)These Holiday calender will be assigned to factory calender for your factory calendor ID

from Year to To Year After that it will be assigned to your perticular plant.

factory calendr is seen as masterdata, so normaly we will not transport, but possiblety are there...

Facotry calendor is independend of clienst means cross client object...
