MRP is not running in New plant

Hi Team,

I need your suggestions.

New plant is created , V1 stock material are 2140 , when I tried to run MRP in MD06 , I am getting ” No elements exist for the selection” is coming, list of materials are not coming. I have verified MD21 ,Planning file entries , 61 Materials are available.

Can you tell me why it is not coming in MD06

I tried in MD05 also , it is not coming,

need your support to resolve this issue ASAP

As you said, I have run the MRP in MD01 , It is generated below message

Materials Planned : 61

Materials with new exceptions : 4

This 61 materials same I have seen in planning profile ,and I verified the report in MD05/6 , still I can't see the list of materials in the report.

can you suggest me quickly.

HI Sudheer,

MD05 and MD06 are reports which is used to see results after taking MRP run , for running MRP we have to use

1. MD01- plant level MRP (all the materials under plant will planned)

2. MD02 - Single item multilevel ( used for one material MRP all the sub assemblies of the material also planned)

3.MD03 - single item single level( used for one material planning wtihout considering its sub assemblies).

first run the MRP as for the requirement then use the t codes you can see the data.

Thanks for your response. Problem solved.

One clarification required on MRP process, I have processed MD01 on the plant level, as per MD01 purchase requisition created , where can I check only PR's which is created by MD01. We have MD05/MD06 , but I can see all materials. Do we have any alternative to check. if yes , pls let me know.

check your material master record (particular material you run) in MM02 second (MRP1-4 TABs)
