Could sombody thro some light on few of the fields in the workscheduling view of material master in ecc 6.0?

2.OB Management

3.Material Grouping

4.Batch Entry

5.OB Ref. Material

A simple suggestion from me, place your cursor in the field and use F1 to get the help as what that field is for.

F1 is no clear. Iam creating work instructions.Hence i need some detailed descriptions.

1.Batch Rec. Req. : it is used especially for process order which batch record required.

You use this indicator to specify that the following activities may only be performed after the relevant batch record has been approved:

- Making the usage decision for an inspection lot of the origin Goods receipt from production.

- Changing the batch status from Restricted to Unrestricted.

2.OB Management : you can decide whether this material allowed original batch or not

3.Material Grouping : you used it just for making the process easier when you want to define transaction matrix in PP-PI for setup time

4.Batch Entry : you can choose whether batch determination run automatically or manually in production/process order

5.OB Ref. Material : is used to define reference material for original batch
