Non Stock Material for Projects

Hi Gurus,

While doing MIGO for non stock material in case of projects (Category Q), system is giving error which says Account Determination not possible.

Please tell me what setting missing in OBYC for projects.

Hi,

Non stock material is consumed during receipt ie Goods receipt is goods issue also and you need not do goods issue seperately. Non stock material cant have category Q as it is Project <i><b>stock</b></i> category. The account assignment should be P.

I used P as category and system posted the entry. but it is picking the account from WRX in OBYC with blank valuation class. But in case of projects i want to assign different account, so how can i do it.

Hi,

You need to assign Valuation Class on Accounting view of material, TC: MM02.

Check in OBYC if cost element is maintained against this valuation class in Inventory posting.

Actually i am talking about Non Stock Material which does not have any material code, so in that case how will system pick GR/IR- Projects Account from WRX in OBYC?
