i have two company codes and two co codes have same distribution channels n same divisions say domestic, exports n some divisions r same so i need to maintain distribution channels say domestic exports two times for two co codes and also two times for divisions and i have to give different numbering for the distribution channels in one co code and also in other plz guide me
Dear Santhosh
My suggestion would be it is better to have one Sales Org, two Distribution Channels - one for domestic and one for exports and one Division for each company code.
Thanks

hi lakshmi pathi
i have seen many busines blueprints in that u will not see any repitition of distribution channels and division but in my case if i take decision to create two distribution channels and two divisions for each co code is it good i mean 10 - domestic 20 - exports for one co code and 30- domestic 40 - exports for another co code
Hi Santosh,
See you need to understand the neccessity of creating 4 distribution channel i.e. 2 seperate for 2 company codes, but as a matter of fact if your requirement is met through one sales org and having 2 diff Dist channels, it would automatically absorb your sales and you can track them.
But if you want to post the revenues differently to both the company codes as export sales from one sales org to one company code and vice versa then the need for creating 10,20,30,40 comes .. but then as said you need visualise as why businees needs this , as this this would be very vital from reporting point of view and other releveant configuration, the more company codes the more configurations and more assignment in turn. so try to keep it simple.
Hope this helps
Cheers
