Reg : HR ABAP

Hi all,

I am an ABAPER. Now i have been assigned into HR ABAP. And i have not been given any development work yet.. now i want to practice the HR Reports.

So... Friends.. Please guide me with some sample scenarios in HR ABAP to practice.. ur Valuable responses r welcomed..

    Hi ,

    There is no Much Difference , Storage of data is different in HR.

    only if you can gain some function knowledge you can understand very easily,

    retreiving the data is also some what different here, you can use some predefined macros and LDBs. Give your email id , i wll send some documents.

    Hi sreemathi,

    First try to know whether they r going to use LDB or not. if not , its very easy , same as all other modules . if they r using u can search in sdn itself. u can get lof of links. first get the functionality of HR , what is the project about..

    Hi Sree,

    I am also new to this so I am developing this skills as I got these from my seniors which are list out below just have a look at this.

    Skills for HR-ABAP

    *****************

    1. Knowledge of Infotypes (PAnnnn & HRPnnnn tables)

    2. Understanding of Validity Date concepts

    3. Good understanding of HR macros, HR Logical Databases

    4. Understanding Time Constraints in HR

    5. If Payroll related, an idea of how to read Payroll Results & work with Wage Types

    6. If related to PA & PD areas, understanding of the integration between these areas

    7. Knowledge of payroll clusters and how they are structured.

    8. Knowledge of the org structure and data.

    9. Understanding of Dynamic Actions and how to customize action flows and functionality

    The following concepts are defined in HR which differs this module with other modules

    1. Use of Infotypes

    2. The use of Logical Database

    3. Use of Macros

    4. Storage and Access of data

    5 Authorization checks

    Just try to explore these skill sets.As HR-ABAP mostly drive with PA,Time Management,OM and Personnel Development.Try to exploring more things in these Modules.

    Use sdn AMAP.
