Encountring an error reading ABAP RUNTIME ERROR DDIC_TYPE_INCONSISTENCY in seceral occassions(creating a purchase order for example) please provide me with solution...

    Do you have some tables with many fields - perhaps standard ones with APPENDS? Look at those tables and use Menu: Extras -> Table width from SE11. Your problem may be caused by the structure being more than 1962 characters long. ( As of Basis Release 6.20 this is 4030 characters).

    If the problem is with a standard SAP table without customer enhancements, then log a call with SAP.
